I sat with 2 other friends on the left side of the stage. Very disappointing as none of the three of us could hear most of the speaking parts. At intermission, my friend asked me if I could hear all of the speaking parts. Loved the music, dancing, and the fact that this play was not in the tone of seriously depressing, like the movie. None of the three of us heard most of the speaking parts. Made for a weird night. The entire left half was not laughing as we could not hear the jokes or most of the speaking parts.
